We organize a biweekly virtual seminar centered on Computational Biology and Bioinformatcis.
The 1st cycle of the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Seminar organized by RSG Uruguay begun on August 30. For this first cycle we have the participation of four young Uruguayan researchers, who began their training in the country and today work abroad, addressing various biological problems through computational/bioinformatics methodologies. In addition to presenting their scientific results, they told us about their life trajectories and the experience of developing a scientific career abroad.
First session: August 30 – 11:30 AM (GMT -3)
Biology, supercomputers and simulations: in silico experiments and its applications in health science
Miguel Ponce de León. PhD
Computational Biology Group, Barcelona Supercomputing Center
Second session: September 13 – 11:30 AM (GMT -3)
